The story of Aura Gil starts from a little neighbourhood called South Central Aurora Hill in the city of Baguio. It was there that my Lola Aurora and Lolo Herminigildo built a small home for their family of four. I always thought it must’ve been fate.  
Growing up, Philippines had felt foreign to me. But growing older has made me realise a big part of who I am had been living there all along; the people, the places and the stories. 

Through patterns and textures, textiles and craft: Aura Gil is a tribute to all the love I find in the Philippines,  and all the little reminders of what it means to feel at home. 
And I hope sharing it with you brings you closer to feeling at home too. The same way fate will bring you wherever, to whoever, and however that may be ♡
